Goodie bags are done

We made goodie bags for Oliver's birthday next week.

We thought long and hard about what we are putting in the goodie bags. First of all, we were coerced into getting goodie bags. So then we had to think long and hard about what we were going to put in there. We bought some little containers those bubbles, so the kids can blow bubbles with. A little package of all natural vanilla cookies, a pencil, and some stickers. All of these items were put into these little goodie bags printed with balloons. In total, we spent less than $1.40 on each kid, this includes the cake, plates, napkins, utensils and goodie bags. :-)

We made all 59 bags tonight. We had enough for 60, but they shorted us a bag. So we figure that Oliver can blow bubbles tomorrow at the park next to the homeless crackheads. I'm kidding, sorta. You wouldn't believe it, but next door to the park is a 700k condo that has $700 HOA dues. Don't you love how the ghetto works?

Next week, we will pick up his birthday cake from costco for daycare. We will have a chocolate bundt cake from an old coworker of mine who is in the process of opening her own shop for just our family. I can't believe my baby is going to turn 2 in less than 2 weeks. He's still a turd, but he's a taller turd now.
